Pipe Bending Process
The process of tube bending involves using mechanical force to push stock material pipe or tubing against a die, forcing the pipe or tube to conform to the shape of the die. Pipe bending allows systems to minimize pressure changes while still routing materials through complex piping systems. As most bent pipes do not alter the ends of the piping, pipe bends are often easy to implement within a processing system using standard welding processes, flanges, or other connection methods.

Spot welding is a type of electric resistance weld that uses resistance to weld two or more metal sheets together using pressure and heat to the weld part. Many factors have to be taken into consideration when designing a pattern to ensure the best and most cost-effective results. For example, some designs are simple and allow for easy removal from the mould. However some castings are complex and require careful pattern design / manufacture which can include the need for core assemblies to ensure patterns can be removed easily from the moulds.
